New Iron Tee Golf Complex Goes Cashless with IntercardIntercard has installed its cashless technology in the 86 game arcade at Iron Tee Golf, a mammoth new golf entertainment venue scheduled to open in May 2024. The venue is located near the popular 75 acre indoor/outdoor TBK Bank Sports Complex in Bettendorf, Iowa, and is operated by the same company.Iron Tee Golf boasts a high-tech three-tier, 58 bay driving range with top-of-the-line equipment and real-time ball tracking technology, making it easy for customers to perfect their swing and track their progress. iQ Reader Makes Asia Debut in Bangkok 5/27-30At the IAAPA Expo Asia from May 27-30 in Bangkok, Intercard will present its latest innovations in cashless technology that are setting a new standard for the amusem*nt industry.Intercard’s Asia-Pacific sales manager Jerry Heinz will be in booth #401. He will be showing the company’s new iQ reader that reads QR codes, which will make its debut in the Asian market.“The increasing acceptance of the QR (quick response) code world-wide prompted us to introduce our iQ readers and kiosks that read QR codes,” says Heinz, “setting the new standard for unattended amusem*nt center payment technology.”The iQ reader can scan customer presented QR codes for payment and redemption point collection. This will enable customers to use mobile devices or printed receipts instead of play cards to active games, reducing costs for route operators and owners of unattended arcades.Intercard’s other new products include an iTeller PlusXL kiosk for water parks, trampoline parks and other active attractions that dispenses wristbands. Guests can use it to buy gate passes, timed play and package deals in addition to arcade play.
