STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — It seems every week there’s a new batch of New York City road closures impacting residents’ commute.
This time around, numerous parades will shut down streets in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. On Saturday, the Haitian Flag Parade will be held in Manhattan, prompting a series of closures. Then, on Sunday, multiple roadways will be sealed off to accommodate the Celebrate Israel Parade.
According to an advisory from the NYPD, the closures will be at the discretion of police.
